Hall of Angels was second at Gensee, in the Genesee Valley Hunt Cup. He really did not like the ground which effected his jumping and he finished exhausted. The winner, Albert's Crossing, relished the heavy going. This is a reverse of the 1 - 2 finish from our previous start, so this is starting to become a nice rivalry.

Preemptive Strike collected his second grade two win of the year with a wire-to-wire win at the Meadowlands in the $75,000 Somerset Medical Center Stakes. He held off McDynamo by five lengths at the wire. He was thirty lengths clear at one point, but seemed very relaxed and jumped gamely while on the lead.
